Cool, celebrating "AnandTech US community". Plus UK, but definitely not the rest of the EU. Probably too expensive to ship over the Channel...DigitalFreak - Monday, August 13, 2018 - link
More likely because of some EU rule.loftie - Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - link
The UK is part of the EU. (currently)Ryan Smith - Monday, August 13, 2018 - link
The good news is that we're being purchased by a UK company at the end of this month, so the giveaway rules might become less restrictive (though no promises).AdditionalPylons - Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - link
That would be very welcome! At least you should state it in the article that it's US only, so we europeans don't need to spend time clicking our way through just to get disappointed.nagi603 - Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - link
Yeah, it's just disingenious when smaller publications (such as Android Police) can do it. It's not hard to append [US/UK only] onto the title, and that would be quite enough.Reflex - Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - link
Yes it is disingenuous of Android Police to hold illegal giveaways without disclosing that to their readers who may face liabilities if caught (as may the owners of the site).edzieba - Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - link
Or that they're just willing to put in the extra effort to comply with relevant local laws.Lord of the Bored - Wednesday, August 15, 2018 - link
Possible, but not likely.nagi603 - Wednesday, August 15, 2018 - link
I see you failed reading comprehension quite hard. We were talking about _labeling_, not holding global raffles. Simply putting in a [US only] label into / around the title. (See AdditionalPylons' comment that I replied to.)
